Cookie Policy
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small amount of information that is stored on a computer in order to identify the browser while interacting with our websites. This information allows us to identify you as a specific user and to save your personal preferences, as well as technical information such as specific pages or visits that you make, thus improving your user experience.
Depending on who manages the domain from which cookies are sent and processes the data obtained, two types can be distinguished: first-party cookies and third-party cookies.
Purpose for which cookies are installed
Analytical cookies: These cookies are used to analyze user behavior in an aggregated and anonymous way, including the number of visitors to the website and to different product tabs, the origin of the visit, day and time, platform, number of clicks on a banner, search terms used by a user to find their desired content. In this way, Alsa uses a very useful tool to introduce improvements on the website and to know which content or design is more relevant to the user.
Functional cookies: These are cookies that help the user have a better browsing experience on the site. An example of the use of this type of cookies is those used to store the browsing data of a certain language.
Technical cookies: Technical cookies are necessary to correctly display the website and ensure the proper functioning of the site.
Analysis cookies: Analysis cookies allow measuring each user’s activity and thus elaborating browsing statistics.
Advertising cookies: These are cookies that help manage the frequency and content of ads.
Access cookies to social networks: Allows user identification and to share content on social networks.
What cookies are used on this website?
We use third-party cookies for navigation analysis, advertising, and access to social networks. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service developed by Google, which allows the measurement and analysis of navigation on web pages. This tool does not obtain data from user names. The information obtained is related, for example, to the number of pages visited, the language, the number of users who visit us, etc.
We also use Google Remarketing, which allows us to show ads to users who have previously visited our website while browsing the web, and Google Adwords, to publish ads on Google. Both services developed by Google.
For greater interaction with social networks, we have different widgets. For the user to share content on social networks, we use AddThis widget, developed by AddThis.
For them to access our social networks, we use the corresponding widgets: Twitter Button developed by Twitter, Pinterest Widget developed by Pinterest, Facebook Connect and Facebook Social Plugins developed by Facebook, and Google+1 developed by Google.
And if I don’t want to use cookies?
Due to their flexibility and the fact that many of the largest and most visited websites use cookies by default, cookies are practically inevitable. Disabling cookies would make it impossible for a user to access most of the sites used massively on the Internet, such as YouTube, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and others. Even search engines need cookies for language settings.
Still, if you want to restrict, block, or delete cookies from any website, you can do so using your browser:
